so do you guys prefer to park at bottom and pedal to the top so you end on the downs, or drive to top and pedal back to vehicle ending on a climb?

Exploring new trails or potential trails is what always rejuvenates my mountain biking spirit.

or low note lol, that's my game plan usually. It's just 3.5 miles of hell though.
    I too need riding buddies.

If you have to do the climb no matter what, I prefer to finish with a smile on my face. I have also hurled a couple times after rides that ended with a long slug uphill so its more of a not wreck my truck while puking thing for me.

Cannot be a NICA trail if it has any features and includes single track. Lol

    I can tell I haven’t rode enough.
It’s great weather for a ride though.

Just listening to birds and stream while resting from my climb.

edit: PSA, never forget Carmex on winter rides.

Not a long one, but a good one. Cold enough it’s tough to breathe but warm enough to get comfortable with the temps.

Also I can report, in the 30 degree temp range, I wore an athletic polyester t shirt, a handup flannel, and a handup windbreaker. Along with chamois and biking shorts, standard bike gloves, and wool socks with my 5.10s. I was plenty plenty warm. The torso combo was awesome and comfortable. Only thing that got cold was my ears during a small road segment between trails.

Anyone rocking a Vitus Nucleus or Sentier? I'd like to pick one up, but they've been eternally out of stock.

When it drops below 40 degrees Fahrenheit, I add a helmet liner to the mix to keep my ears warm. Here's what I'm rocking this year:

Oh I like that, but man would I get that so so sweaty. It was only on the road section where I got up to 15-20mph, so I wasn’t too worried about it.

I just stuff it into a pocket or my fanny pack when I'm not using it. Too easy.

I wouldn't even think about riding without it once temps drop below freezing. Not a chance.

I use a thin helmet liner or just a headband.
