My main riding partner Kevin HATES that tank top. HATES IT. and makes snide comments about stupid taco cats every time I wear it.

Every second or third person riding around the trail compliments it when they see it and it bugs him so much. It makes me so happy.

I get like 3 compliments a ride from people haha. Look and ride like a traffic cone.

Yep, YT Decoy 29. Bought it for the wifey so she can keep up on climbs and longer rides. Been meaning to take it out more, but honestly a bit nervous because I knew it would be too fun and the short travel bike would be hard to justify. I was right...

 

I had someone let me ride a basically new Pivot Shuttle this weekend, and my goodness it was awkward my first barely pedal stroke and it launched. Given I'm used to pedaling an Enduro so I say light pedal stroke, but you know. Anyways, it makes me want one sooo bad for exploring new spots then coming back and hitting the good stuff on the Firebird.

I just don't know how the guy justified paying 11k for a bike, surely when bikes get that expensive they offer discounts on them. The guy mentioned trading for my Firebird, idk if serious or not because I didn't follow up. Maybe I should have, it's worth a good bit.

 

I’m putting together a 29er hardtail and I’m in the search for some parts. I’m not in a rush, but below is what I’m looking for. If you have something that matches and want to sell, hit me up.

I’m not looking for top shelf as I’m trying to spend as little as possible. But I’m not looking for trash either, fair to good condition overall is kinda what I’m looking for.

WTB:
•29 wheelset - the wider the better (>30mm inner)
•29 fork - 120/130mm travel
•30.9 dropper - don’t care about travel length

There was a moment that they closed trails here in Hawaii so I got into road biking and got a hybrid lol mod it up to keep up with the roadies

 

That’s what I think it’s primary purpose should be. But man, honestly, it rode really well and hid its weight incredibly well. Certainly wouldn’t ride it as hard and fast as the Wrecker, but it was impressive.

You’ll like it, have one on the Django. Not very noticeable, but works.

 

Anyone tried any ceramic brake pads? I ordered the red labels from MTX and I hope they are much quieter than the metallics I’m currently running.

 

Yep, second nature without a thought of doing it. Same with any crash, it just happens.
