Cool plates, but I’d be afraid that would attract cops to you more to pulling you over, just to see if you’re drunk.

Speaking of, we have early 2000s style silverado locally with a ski masked face over crossed daggers with the text "no face; no case" underneath. Limo tint windows as well. Wanna guess how many cop cars he had behind him on a traffic stop yesterday night?

That's probably a good argument to stick with a Pike or Fox 34 on my hardtail, since I'm almost always going to use the enduro sled on rowdy rides.

Plus fox fork stuff is a dime a dozen. I'm waiting for a good test of my new Marzocchi Z2 on my new steel hardtail, because I've been led to believe it may actually beat out a 34 in a head to head.

I've been keeping an eye out for a deal on Marzocchi as well; really any 130/140mm travel fork. I'm kinda hoping to grab a Pike since I've got lots of time on high-end Fox stuff, but only cheaper Rockshox stuff over the years.

Jenson has 1 helm left. I'm sure @backcountryj could give you his thoughts.

It's basically the same design as the Paralever front suspension on BMW motorcycles. It's like Scientology. Once you drink the cool-aid you cannot be critical of the design. Bimmer dudes will swear to you how the Paralever is better in every way and the solution to every problem. And it's so much better nobody else has ever built something similar and it's not used in racing. :)

I did spend some time on a demo Trust fork on an Evil Calling riding California trails for a week or so. It is not plush compared to my coil forks but it is stiff and a great climbing and cornering fork However, after a week of riding it, the damper started puking oil so I was not impressed with it's durability (I'm a 135 lb rider so I'm not a clyde). If they sold it for $400 or $500, I'd buy one just to experiment with it some more but otherwise, I'd just get a Push coil conversion and a custom damper tune for my money.

Nice! And, thank you. That section needed attention. When it dries out, I’ll give it a test run.

Thats awfully judgemental of you? What if he's merely showing his love of whisking. Maybe he's a baker and enjoys his time whisking cake batter?

Late to the subject but I cant go back to most cycling lights after using some neutral white high CRI lights. Hopefully some of the bike specific lights start taking temperature and cri more seriously.

Not my photo but it shows the difference:
