Same spot on mine. I used my man hands and brought it back to an acceptable position. Was in a little too much pain yesterday to think rationally.

I’ll probably still replace it if I can find the part in stock (or a compatible model).

Speaking of which, I need to check in on the members (84 strong). We get some weird people sign up that have nothing to do with our group, many of which "doctor" their rides. I don't get it.

    All the ovally goodness.

and a new GX chain. I gotta get a master link tool. Had to use the link off my old chain because I couldn’t for the life of me get the new link to set

    Wolftooth pack pliers ftw.

Just got a ride in in my oval ring yesterday and if I focused on spinning good circles, I could really feel the oval work through my legs. Def noticeable in some punchy spots where I used to be pretty mashy, but totally get how others dont notice a change, cuz I only remembered halfway through the ride that I had put an oval on cuz my riding buddy asked about it. I really like it though.

Picked up my first full suspension bike. Very entry level but I’m excited to get away from my hard tail.

Yeah I did a quick test run up the driveway, it’s a slope, and then down the flat road. Couldn’t tell much difference on the driveway but on the flat road I could feel the shape...as weird as that sounds.

So, why the wolf tooth pliers and not the park tool master link pliers for half price?

Because it stores several masterlinks internally, and is small enough to bring with you in a pack to do chain repairs on the trail. I think Im 50/50 in number of trail fixes vs garage chain fits/replacements.

Yeah after I asked I actually went and looked at it. Other features that are nice, plus trail use looks very handy. Don’t wanna carry the park tool ones on the trail.

    sold.

The newer model holds a bunch of bits too, so it may even be able to replace a multitool. But i already have one i like so i just rubberbanded it together and works great
