Just remember any stock you buy and sell in less than one years ownership is taxed regular and not as capital gains.

Congrats on that success though, I never dove into GME.

Bend has some great trails for a beginner. The whole Phil's network is full of stuff that anyone could ride with a handful of trickier trails/sections thrown in. It's also a great town to AirBNB and hang out in since there are lots of great breweries, hikes, rivers, etc.

Bellingham trails tend to skew on the more advanced side of things. I'm sure there are easier trails there, but I just don't know the area as well.

Yep. I have ridden in Bend but (perhaps unbelievably since I'm in the Seattle area) not Bellingham. Either way I'm pretty comfortable with the group at either location. Wife loves Bend and FIL will too and I'm not too concerned with the absolute top notch destination riding. Just some fun stuff for the group. Weather should be more reliable in Bend in May, but I do wonder about trail conditions. Bellingham trails will at least be clear of snow but run the risk of being in a week long rain event.

Hoping for some other options to consider.

The only downside is having a Kashima fork, but not kashima rear shock or seatpost throws off the feng shui.

I have same one, just my lower housing is different color and without the bleeders (2020 vs 2021).

I kinda like the odd "green" fox forks.

The pistachio is a conditional color combo for me. I've seen a couple bikes locally that it looks REALLY good on, then a few on pinkbike, etc that look GOD AWFUL.

You know the axle the pistachio one comes with is different. I had to look it up after talking about it.. I think your regular boost axle will work, but this is what it comes with.

Also I think the axle would look great on a murdered out black bike.

The 2021s come with the pinchbolt design. It isn't exclusive to a color. My rootbeer has it too.

Gotta say your fork blends so well with the Kashima.

I was dead set on the orange factory lowers, but the minute I saw that root beer color, I knew what my heart needed.

I'm sure you are being a bit tongue in cheek, but that's not really true. It's probable in the winter, somewhat likely in the spring/fall, and unlikely in the summer for a week straight of rain. But since I'm talking spring....yeah it could happen.
