I heard there was at least 5 of them holding the tape measure. I told them they only needed one, but they insisted they knew what they were doing. :notsure:

Are we assembling a team that will once and for all solve the age old mystery of taint pain in the MTB community? We should start with a focus group.

6s to this day. It still works and receives updates for now. Plus I still have the 3.5 audio jack which I actually see as a huge plus.

That's what I've always loved about Apple, the ongoing software support. I know Android has gotten better but I swore them off when my flagship Samsung phone was ineligible for updates 6 months after I got it.

I got a Samsung 20 about 6 months ago now, and I cant tell you the number of times I've wished I had a 3.5 jack now that I don't have one.

Hadn't used my old phone's 3.5 jack more than a handful of times, but the situation has arisen like a dozen times recently now that I don't have the option.

That's my one beef with Android devices, and its more the carriers like samsung, etc than the actual software that limits you to 2 major version updates (8.x -> 10.x, etc) before it essentially "ages out".

Found out the hard way when I tried to reinstall Gaia maps on the move during a trip on my old tablet and ran into unfixable version issues. Good news is I was in the market for a newer tablet anyway.

Man I couldn't agree with you more. The "other" brands just deteriorate until updates to their software just stops working because the company has moved on. Apple does piss me off with their proprietary nonsense sometimes but overall its a better deal.

**Please do not skewer me computer nerds but I don't care how programmable "this" is over "that." I'm not in that niche demographic of computer users.**
