Having a bike stand has helped a ton. This week I replaced a perpetually rubbing 180mm rear rotor with a straight 200mm. Removed cranks cleaned and regreased and creaking is gone, thank goodness, it’s a PF BB so I don’t have tools to remove. Tonight I took the fork out and cleaned the headset up as well and regreased. Maybe when I get back from Colorado or something I’ll work on cleaning and regressing the pivots on my Pivot. Oh and I dropped a tool and dinged my new stands leg.

thats so funny haha because i went into one house and they and two of these in the kitchen branching off of the center Island and initially was like WTF why is this in the kitchen. But then it kinda didnt seem like so bad of an idea and when you put it against the price of lumber right now it makes sense.

A new (first ever) pump track/skate park are nearing completion locally.

Pretty exciting times for sure. We don’t have destination style trail terrain by any stretch, but cycling in general has been really gaining traction in the area. The movement began pre-covid, but bikes and all things outdoors are certainly getting additional funding and attention.

Same. Hoping this year. With a baby on the way, and a new house, this might be the last opportunity for a minute.
Ah shit, I thought it was opening this summer
Long hair here too. Shoulder length, but I just let that shit fly in the wind Fabio style.

I do love that space, but it’s almost too clean/empty. I’ll have a lot more stuff. Got more tools/chests/etc so I’ll fill up the shop quick. Thankfully the house/car stuff can stay upstairs in the main garage so it should just be hobby stuff downstairs.
