Had a nice Hike down a 2.5 mile downhill yesterday morning...

    after PRing a 45 min 1400ft climb

Got a flat at the top..... tried to plug it with a ended up with a bigger hole. Burned a co2 realizing wasn't sealed. My buddy had a pump that we discovered was broken. We decided to put the tube in with my final co2 and got it up to 11psi give or take. FFFFFFF as the trail down is pretty gnarly rock gardens.

Started decent toward Chumash trail on fire road we met up with a guy in a fat ebike with no helmet lol he had a pump but only for Shrader valve ending up down at 6 psi after discovering that wasn’t going to work. :bananadead:

40 min stroll down the fun part back to the truck

Probably operator error but CO2 inflators are dead to me....haha

Ordered up a new mini pump going to install a water bottle cage.

Safe to say the Eliminator has been Eliminated...

DHR II and Assegai going on

    Good times....:anonymous:

Def operator error. Those CO2 cartridges hold a ton of volume

    hahahahahahah!

I was thinking about either as well this weekend but I think opening weekend might be too crazy. So I'd vote Crest. My buddy and I might be doing Crest as well...

I love co2 inflators. mini pumps are dead to me because I haven't found one that won't grab my valve core and not pull it out after pumping. (yes, i realize the innuendos)

Lube helps with pumping. “Broken” pumps are often just dry.
Most pumps can reverse the seal to work either valve type.

I just got a Lezyne inflator and had to use it the other day. I’d definitely recommend it.
