I had one and traded it in for the Yakima Dr. Tray. Both great racks, I wanted the adjustability of the Yak. You can move the trays, which allows for tailgate clearance, bike clearance, and better rear camera view.
Look toward the front of this thread, lots of pics and comments of both.

Great looking bike! A plus size hardtail is my current N+1 and that Torrent is one the short list.

How much weight will the tailgate hold? I have a couple M'cycles with one around 450. I've read you need top take off the tailgate?

UncleBoone! Awesome bike and just the man I have a question for.

This left had syncros grip has the integrated dropper and twin lock system, so how the hell do you change the grips?

You should have received a shim in your with your bike when you bought it. Here is a link to a discussion on this topic on another forum: http://forums.mtbr.com/scott-sports/twinlock-replacing-grips-987849.html
Be very carful to not over tighten the bolts on the twinloc lever when mounting with the shim as the head will break right off. Don't ask me how I know, fortunately I was able to get the tiny bolt out and fixed without any permanent damage.

Just finished building one. I’ll try and snap a pic soon.
    Ragley BigWig, Hope wheels/hubs, 2.8 high roller/reckon, xt/eagle drivetrain, 140manitou magnum fork.
    Long, low, slack.
I was so stoked on the build, my first from the ground up with no help. Looks stellar. But, after a few trail rides, my old ass knees are not feeling it. That shit hurts. Thinking I’ll sell the frame a build a short travel ripper instead. I’m a Devinci fan, so maybe a Marshall.

Looks rowdy man, love the spike wheels myself. I got two rigs, curious why you are selling this beast?

    Waiting for pics.

Curious about the XT/Eagle setup. Did you end up getting a different mech cage like the OneUp Shark cage for it to work? Then again now there is XTR 51T. :stirthepot:

I will be building my first bike in a couple of weeks, just waiting for parts to arrive. Ordered Sunrace 11-46 cassette paired with 32T NW chainring. Should cover everything nicely in my area, including snow.
