In case anyone is interested, my wife is selling her '17 Troy. She rode the Marshall I just built, and now wants that... Since I like building bikes, I'm good with it.
Her Troy is seriously like new, she barely rode it. Kitted out carbon frame, bars, cranks, wheels, full XT build. And she's a pretty timid rider, which is why the shorter travel plus-tired Marshall works better for her.

FINALLY on a “trail” bike and MAN am I loving it. Been riding a slammed, raced out Superfly for about 4 yrs and I no longer care about speed. I just want slack & fun and grip. Had about $4200 into this superfly. Sold it to a buddy for $1k and bought this Stache 7 for $1k from another buddy. Just put a 150mm dropper on it & ive never had so much fun in my life. The Trek Stache with a dropper is just TOO much fun.

Question for the group... does anyone have the Bakflip MX4 and use the front rails to mount their bike with a rocky mount or something like that? I know there is still a narrow piece of cover laying flat, curious if it blocks the use of the front rail.

probably because companies like santa cruz do. i almost bought a yeti before i got my bronson. one of the huge factors was that the bronson had a lifetime frame warranty and the yeti only had 5 years.

I couldn’t agree more about the Stache. I have the same power purple 7 and love it

What dropper did you get? I’d love to add one, but have done zero research to see what works for that bike.

Nice, thanks. That one is on my short list, along with the Crank brothers highline. I think I may have to stick with a 125mm though with my M frame and diminutive 5’7” stature.

With a Trek shop about 2 miles from my house, I’m leaning more towards the bontrager just from a servicing/warranty standpoint.

This Bontrager line dropper is just so dang good. I too was intimidated by the vast array of options and price points and horror stories but to stick with a proven Bontrager dropper... makes things so easy for install and keeps it all really cohesive together. This dropper works like a dang charm.

Took my 4 year old daughter to the park to ride her Oset electric bike. Can’t wait to get her on some real trails.

Crossed one off the "to-do" list yesterday. Highest ride to date: 13,250 ft in elevation at the peak. Crazy feeling on top of the world, with 360* of jagged big rocky peaks all the way to the horizon. I'm used to riding around 10K, but man at 13K is a whole different experience. Felt so winded constantly, and definitely some delayed reaction time. Crazy.

In order from the start to the end, or course the pics don't do it justice. We should have stopped more to take some, but the downhill was 4K+ of awesomeness and we couldn't be bothered.

Man that is tempting. Sweet bike and love the color. If only I hadn't just bought a Tacoma last month....and a new road bike in April.

I don't think that would make up for the cost of the divorce lawyer. :)
