Just one ride on it so far but I've gotten used to the longer Insurgent (maybe size does matter). I need to swap some parts out of the Warden to make it more like my Evils:

Longer stem (from 35mm to 60mm)- The Insurgent is about 1.25" longer than the Warden even though the reach figures are almost the same.

    800mm bars (from 760mm)

XTR Race lever with Saint calipers (from Guide RSC)- I like the instant on of the XTR Race and Saint combo (no servowave)

32T RF Ring (from a 34T Wolf Tooth)

Wolf Tooth Dropper Remote (from a Fox Remote).

    ACS3 Coil for the 36 RC2 (160mm)

I would also say if you are apart of any sort of riding group to throw out some info on it there. I have two bike groups I socialize with and that's always my go to...although it don't help if all your bros are broke.

Yes. I live on Price Avenue a few blocks from SoKno Taco. No HoT this year, I podiumed solo last year and I told myself I'll never race that hard again. Plus conditions will be terrible looks like

not racing, but we will be driving out to the 5 points checkpoint to party down like we did last year. I was the one that had the tents and lights set up out on course last year. You should drive out and join in

@NWTFIowa @honda50r How does Pisgah do after rain like we are getting today? Total muckfest or salvageable riding?

20181021_114921.jpg We just got back from a trip to north western Arkansas (Mountainburg). Rented this cabin between Devil's Den State Park (18 mi.) and Lake Ft. Smith State Park (3 mi.). Both parks had good hiking and cross country biking trails with around 6 + miles at each (we're both a little out of shape due to life, kids etc. so good for us), plus Devil's Den had some really great hiking trails! Had a great time. Check out Deer Hollow Cabins in Mountainburg AR. if your interested in the area, very reasonable rates!

It was a hell of a time last year. 4 days of ride all day, party all night, sleep when you get home. Felt like I needed an AA meeting afterwards.

@NWTFIowa @honda50r pm me your venmo, paypal, whatever. I owe you a beer for some great riding recommendations today!

Rode mid and lower Black Mountain and Sycamore cove then met up with an old friend from high school and we rode Kitsumah on my beige-tastic HTLT. My sit bones and legs hurt, but a good day. Now to sample the local suds!

Wedging a bike in an SRT8 Charger makes me realize how practical my taco is though! Like a glove!
