It takes about 7 seconds to take it, and another 7 seconds to put it back on, and the bike travels very securely. Worth it.

I love it! The 7 is the best bargain in the Stache line. Its my only bike as my budget (and wife) only allow for a one bike stable these days. I was somewhat hesitant on going back to a hard tail after riding nothing but full suspension bikes for so long, but I do not regret it at all. Don't feel that I've lost any speed on the downhill, and have gained speed in some spots. The traction from the Plus tires and the flickability of this frame make it a real fun bike for me. I have had to readjust some of my riding habits due to riding full squish. Getting back on a hard tail I honestly think its made me get back to being more technical with my riding. I also like the fact that the drop outs allow me to run a variety of drivetrain and tire/wheel combos. I'm sure at some point I'll go back to the dark side, or the wife will let me get a second bike, but for now I'm stoked on this purple monster.

I had an adverse reaction! I bought a fuel ex 27.5 plus took it out and every turn had my front wheel try to dish out. Wiped out 3 times. Too much travel plus squish lead to no traction feedback and bad wash out when hitting a corner hard. I'm sure I could have adjusted but it's just not for me.

Took it back got a top fuel 8 and love It. Cuts the trails and corners like a razor.
Im thinking plus size on hardtail is a happy medium though.

Loaded my motorcycle in the bed and schlepped it to Las Vegas and back last month (2,400mi roundtrip). Used a Baxley sport chock and straps.

I got more compliments on the bike loaded up in the truck than I ever do riding the damn thing.

I could see that with plus tires on a full suspension. I'm running lower tire pressure than I would have anticipated before buying the bike. Definitely feels planted in the turns and gobbles up roots and rocks when climbing.

I understand that Ive got my hard tail giant for a commuter, then my trek for the climb rides my stinky for the downhill and my enduro pro for most things..
