LOL, I have cleaned Puke Hill once out of my many attempts. That thing eats people every day.

Trestle and Evolution are my top 2 parks to hit.

In my case those two numbers are swapped so I guess that’s my excuse for being really slow... though I’ve ridden with some 70+ year old guys who leave me behind up and downhill. One of them always rides his fat bike, so that when he gets on his XC hardtail it feels really fast.

For Fears Tears and Beers, the guy leading the 50+ age group was the mayor. Rode his FOES Fat DH bike along the entire 5K elevation gain enduro circuit for the day, then went and did an EXTRA 1500K lap at the end. Was at the banquet hanging out with us afterwards like nothing happened. Complete mad man!

How much does a Norweld setup like you have it run? I want to know, but don’t want to know all at the same time. So sick.

Lol! Well my truck is one of the MLO company rigs so it’s got a lot of goodies on it. What’s cool is you can always just start with the tray first and do the canopy later on.

RPR is solid. I did the enduro championships a couple months back and got my ass handed to me, but I pushed hard and went down a few times. I’m less than an hour from there, pace bend and pedernales. All great places.

I absolutely love that bike! I just wish they'd make a steel or titanium version with the exact same geo. I'd buy it today!

I'm thinking about going with the latest Vassago Radimus Ti and a 29+ setup, which has a geo that is very similar to the Chameleon and the added bonus of tons of bag/bottle mounts for bikepacking. Haven't finalized that choice yet, though...

The Chameleon is super underrated. My local shop has pretty much all the sizes and both colors on the wall waiting for new owners, plus they actually make good deals on Santa Cruz bikes.

On a side note, they reminded me I have had another unfinished bike project for far too long. Transition Rapture with a King headset and a pair of HED Belgium + rims and Paul hubs waiting for me to learn to wheel build. So I finally ordered the spokes and hope to have this bike built by the end of February.

A completely unnessesary and useless fixed gear commuter messenger urban cyclocross with disc brakes....
