Nice setup man. That thing will egg you on to get healed up and ready to ride. Good luck on the surgery, and heal well.

The Sight got a great review on BIKE.com. I love mine but it’s a 2014. The new one is longer and slacker. Probably rides a lot different than your Kona and even my bike now. Demo one if you can.

Had to get out for a ride. Muddy, snow, icy, but had a blast.

I do! Mostly because it’s a new chainring and cassette after almost 4 years, but also having a 30 tooth instead of 22 tooth chainring, plus maybe better chain tension since it’s a smaller length variation, seems to have really reduced chain slap. I used to shift to my big ring on some rough downhills just ‘cause my chain seemed to bounce around so much - no more!

Thinking about pulling the trigger on a 1up set up. Thinking two roof rack versions to mount on my KB Voodoo bars. From what I've read they seem like a solid set up but would love to hear thoughts from people with personal experience with them.

I have had a 1Up hitch rack for almost 3 years now. It’s great. The roof rack version is basically the same, and if you’re OK mounting over the bed, seems to be a good choice vs hanging off the back.

Found a low stack height stem that fits like a glove on the Mullet project. Matching blue Hope hubs are in the mail so I will try building another wheelset too.

This will be another strange bike. 69er - 1x9 SLX drivetrain with a Sram shifter- Zee brakes - with a fork I had last rebuild in 2014 or 2015? that I last rode in 2012 - mix and match of random parts I had in my spares collection spanning over a decade, plus random stuff to make it all work together.

    Love Frankenstein-bikes. Keep it weird.

I just went through my parts pile. Just realized I have a full build kit ready to roll, as long as I can find a 29er with superboost hubs.
I’m a Devinci fan, so I’m hoping they drop their new Django soon, and it’ll be superboosted.

Montana de Oro. Finally snuck a ride in between all of this rain we've been seeing.

Anyone have gravel bike recommendations? The Marin Gestalt X10's price tag caught my attention. But the X11 comes with a dropper post and better components o_O

Anybody have a wide set of non-boost (12x142) MTB wheels? At least 27mm inner width

Looking to get a dropper post for my 2016 Stache if anyone has any reasonably priced recommendations?

I know the length/travel will be specific to my height/inseam/frame size. I’m primarily asking for suggestions on brands/models to look at that are reliable and won’t break the bank.

    Thanks

Been using a KS E ten for a while and I’m pretty impressed. Got it on sale for $99 when my rock shox broke

I've had this one for a few years, and while it works, the lever has been getting stuck, and I almost always have to reach under the seat and press it up to fully lock it, or it won't stay locked and the seat will slowly descend. Not enough of an issue to warrant spending a couple hundred bucks on a new post, but still annoying. (but if anyone knows of a way to fix this issue, I'd love to hear it!)

One up. Great value, great post. Pair with the wolftooth lever and it’s golden.

Also, I’m headed down to Co Springs Friday. Never been.
Anyone want to go ride bikes before the snow returns? Supposed to be 50s and sunny.
