Yeah the DH bike is pretty addicting when you can do lap after lap lift access runs. It's pretty much dirtbiking without the engine haha.

Anyone here follow the DH World Cup? Crazy race last weekend.

 

I normally watch the highlights as I never seem to take the time to sit down and watch it. Yea man got to be in the know atleast of whats going on with the pros during the season!

 

I'm not really an LT or DH guy (old, slow on 2 wheels, pedal or moto; and prefer exploring to rock crawling on 4) but my wife got up at 4AM to watch the Lourdes DH World Cup live. She's pretty special ❤️.

 

Thats awesome! I got my gf hooked on watching the races too!

Anyone on here from or currently live in the Reno, NV area? Got some potential job opportunities and moving there might be a pretty good option. I'm just curious what the mountain bike scene is like out there? Looks like there is only one DH place to ride though.

An acquaintance who's a serious rider moved to Reno recently, and says the riding is awesome right out his front door. And he's living in a condo in town, north end I believe, not some mountain property. And further afield (but still nearby) there's Tahoe, the Carson City trail network, then only a few hours to Mammoth or Downieville, etc. The east side of the Sierra can be snow-free when Tahoe is buried, so all-in-all I'd think it's a pretty good place to ride.

 

Squavally in the Tahoe area is epic! Which Tahoe is right outside of Reno.

 

Finally just picked up the new sb6!!! Hands down sweetest bike I've ever ridden!!

 

Finally got the rack in from pipelineracks.com. Nice bike rack, dont have to de-assemble the front tire, and was able to secure it enough to where I didnt need a bed extender.

 

Finally decided on a 5010 today. Went with the base spec aluminum in matt black. Cant wait till it arrives!

 

Nice choice, I like the 5010. I hope yours comes in sooner than the Chameleon I ordered. Already past a month, and it might arrive in the next two weeks or the first month of July depending on who I believe. At least mine is a spare bike (5th actually) so I lose nothing by waiting.
