Is that an Ellsworth behind the Niner? If so that's hilarious... the two brands whose frames always seem to break sitting there with flat tires :D

Yup, that silver niner I cracked years ago. I had plans to use the frame for some type of bike that still has not materialized into anything yet. The Ellsworth has been sitting for the past few months. I got a Santa Cruz blur and have not looked back to any of my other bikes.

Balance bikes rock. Both mine started out on BB’s and were riding peddle bikes without training wheel before they were 4.

Serfas lights seem pretty good and reliable. My old room mate has been using that one of those for the last 5 years. I've been using a set of cygolites and they are pretty good too.

I have a cygolite for my bars because they're fairly cheap and actually run at their rated output, or better. I've been using a bio-lite camping headlamp for my helmet, but I wouldn't mind an attached option. I'll check out the SERFAS, thanks!

Can you lower your tailgate with a 1up bike rack without adjusting the rack? like if your bike isn't on it and the rack is just resting like normal can you walk up and lower your tailgate completely without adjusting the rack? Hope that makes sense..
