You're totally right and it may be a little personal. I am butthurt about the trails not being what I thought they were

That's a damn lie for sure. Pretty sure at least 2 of the top 5 are in UT (Moab and Virgin/Geezy)

Def relative. I go visit places like southern New York for work and the trails they are stoked about are our warm up trails here in UT. Places like Pisgah or Moab being within easy reach of us def takes the piss out of other trails. Thankfully, I have learned that you can always jib little rocks and stuff on lamer trails to make them a little more fun. I just like bikes :D

Bummed that the trails here didn't live up to your expectations. Curious about what trail systems y'all got to ride? I always feel Slaughter Pen is kind of a drag when you're trying to get a long ride in mostly because you have to make a decision every five minutes.

Only suggestion I would have is to ditch the reflectors and the kickstand. MTB riders are cool, people with kickstands are not :D

Also, please watch these highly instructional videos.

    Heck yeah man.

We are building some fun stuff on some of the harder trails at Alafia at the moment. Hope you continue this great sport.

We need to make a show kinda like 'An Idiot Abroad" (not calling you one) where we send @honda50r around the world to hyped riding spots and then film him just complaining the whole time

Rides Galbraith: But it's just a park?

Rides Hurricane: But the rocks are too red...and its hot

Rides Park City: But these are all XC trials... (actually that's true)

You'll be Ricky Gervais' "stoked for the journey" character. Always amazed that Karl can find the negative in all these amazing trips

Reflectors only work when light is being hit. Over time they will fall off and litter the trail.

Edit: and thats where the basis comes from - but do whatever makes you happy.

Does the Yakima Bikerbar fit well in the back closest to the back window? or the Thule Bikerbar?

I like Yakima its what I had on the roof of my civic, however looking at the hardware not sure if it fits..

also when using the bars do you have any added security, for when you need to stop for a beer after your ride? lol thanks
    Dbl Cab, Short bed btw

You will soon learn the basis for trends in this industry is arbitrary sometimes. Fanny packs are cool for crying out loud

Yeah I’ve only heard/read good things. Makes sense though
They don’t do anything in my opinion. Day time they don’t do anything, a super bright late is better. Night time, again they don’t do anything, at least not compared to a good set of lights. Maybe on the wheels but I doubt it. A bright head lamp is going to catch a drivers attention faster than a reflector.

Maybe don't ride in a manner that endangers you or cars? You can't control their habits, but you can look out for yours. We have some of those too. Just don't go maching out into the street and you'll be fine.

This. Always funny to ride the chunkier trails around here and see all the orange and red bits of reflector strewn in the dirt around the drops.

Why are we pedalling backwards instead of just squeezing the brake levers? Are you on a beach cruiser with a coaster brake or something?

I was wondering if that was a humor, but I legit saw a dude on a beach cruiser on one of our easier trails the other day. Looks like he had outfitted it with 29er MTB tires and everything. Wanted to get a pic but didn't know how to broach the topic of "Dude, your bike is absurd, can I take a pic for internet mockery?"
