It was in Boise. Seems like a solid area to live in. Not the most remote but coming from DC a lot of places will be the middle of nowhere haha

Idaho is so awesome, but shits spread quite far apart. The upside of places like Utah, Colorado, and Washington are the accessibility of a variety of riding relatively close by.

Speaking of which; since Whole Enchilada is STILL RUNNING this late in the year, I’m going again. Sunday shuttle, pm me if interested.

**UPDATE: Booked a 8:00 shuttle with Porcupine Shuttles. Some seats left, but I wouldn't wait too long. They were booked out last weekend.

These dudes are animals. Just the camera sitting at the start gate staring out across the valley is insane let alone going down that stuff.

New cheapo setup in the topper. I already had the fork mounts, grabbed a 2x8 This morning and it worked great.

Yup! Just keep driving thru the state and go to Utah, Washington or Oregon. Don’t stop to talk to anyone!

Epic day on Whole Enchilada. Perfect weather top to bottom. Ran into maybe 3 people.
    Soul ride.

Picked up my first mtb in December 2018 (Stumpjumper ST 29 first post).

Once I put a few hundred miles in on my local trails and bike parks, learned some terminology like "dab" and "huck", picked the brains of more experienced riders, I started to notice some things I wanted to improve upon as my confidence increased and learned my riding style.

    Here it goes:

    Fork: Fox 34 Performance
    Shock: Fox DPX2 Performance
    Long Travel Horst-Link
    Handlebars: S-Works DH Carbon
    Seatpost: Fox Transfer
    Wheels: Roval Traverse Carbon
Drivetrain: SRAM GX Eagle Cassette, Shifter, Derailleur & Chain
    Brakes: Shimano XT
    Rotors: Shimano Ice-Tech
    Grips: RevGrips Race Series Medium
    Pedals: Race Face Chester
    Saddle: Specialized Power

    20191026_130335.jpg
    20191027_104055.jpg

Super happy with the progression of the bike and myself.
