Just got back from ride. A little mud here and there, but overall the trails are in decent condition.

I just got on a Hightower today for a spin. Nice bike. Though I think I like the fuel ex more.

I think the Tallboy would be a better comparison to the Fuel EX. And likewise the Hightower to the Remedy

Not at all trying to challenge your appraisal. As I have zero saddle time on anything from Santa Cruz. Thats based solely on travel numbers.

My preference would be to wait on the demo fleet....but that will require some patience.

    Nice.

Since the Harley is going to be well over the initial budget, i am definitely going to cheap this year.. unless the right used bike comes up...

Found some trails while down here on vaca.. nothing ridiculous, but, pretty good for the Fuel EX, though, my Timberjack would be a LOT faster. Short. Gonna play some more before I roll home...

Looks like your new bike! Stop delaying, you know you’ll love it. :spending:

So jelly right now. I’ve always wanted to ride up there. I think I’ll try and get it next summer.

You should check out our group. I knew we where going to be getting into some major nonsense when there was a “gravel ride” posted and only 2 of us had gravel bikes! We linked abandoned roads and single track and some pavement for about 50 miles.

This is the “road” we took that dropped us off a few miles away from the bakery.

I’m really digging those Fargo’s and Cutthroats! Those guys crushed the day!

I know I am a bike nerd. But I do try to find the original add on other sites.

Does anyone have the Yakima hangover rack. Just looking for a few good pictures and a quick review. And wondering if it has created rub marks on the forks.

For the money. 1up USA. All aluminum. No plastic. No contact on anything other than the tires. Expandable to fit a fattie.

    Speaking of Fargos...

New Bike Day... and it’s not even my new bike.

My buddy in Japan asked me to check out a bike that was local to me that he wanted to buy. I did, he bought, and I promptly took it for a haul down the local river trail out and back for 64 miles of fun.

2019 Salsa Fargo with Boost and rolling on WTB 3 inch rubber. I never felt a twinge of discomfort and could roll really well on that big rubber

Of course, since it’s going to Japan; I made sure those were green tea bags.

Those trails are MADE for Singlespeed hard tails... except for Moonscape at Alafia; f@ck that trail... I will always love me some Ridgeline, Spider Berm, and Canyon... sometimes Bridges... sometimes.

It’s definitely worth the wait and cleaning it will make your day. Last time I rode at Balm Boyette; the trails had been decimated by hogs digging in the middle of them. Golf Cart was almost unrideable. We still had tons of fun, heck part of the fun was dodging those hog holes at speed!
