Tied with the SB140 for my favorite bike to ride that is currently released. I've ridden them back-to-back, on the same trail, on the same afternoon and I can honestly say that neither is better than the other. The SB130 climbs a hair better and rolls a hair faster, but the SB140 is just stupid-fun on the descents.

This is how I compared them to my friend who supplied the bikes for me to demo. They are a journalist who regularly reviews bikes-
The SB130 is like that sweet girl you like and think is going to be great long-term relationship material.
The SB140 is that hot girl you picked up at the bar who wants to go home with you tonight.

    I own the SB140 now...

Another friend recently demoed the 140 and compared his ride to a squirrel on fire. Seems like an appropriate description.

I finally got to try out my 5.10 contacts yesterday and I must say they are all they're hyped up to be. They were phenomenal. I'm no pro rider but it's the first time my feet did not come off of my pedals since I started biking.

Seeing how long I can keep stock(ish) OVTuned
Does oneup ever run any deals? Wanting on of the "roof racks" initially. But, since my new work van has a hitch, it would be nice for out of town trips

Don’t think so. At least not that I’ve seen or heard of, and I was on the look out for a couple years before just biting the bullet. Sorry :notsure:

Jealous! We've had about 6'' of rain in the last week and I do enough trailwork to know it's not a good idea to get out there until we've had a chance to clear out drains and stuff. And it's not letting up. All autumn as plants dry up, trails get dust-choked, and fires burn, we pray for rain, and when it's here ... we realize we can't ride. Yeah, we're spoiled.

No...it has to be swung out of the way to completely lower the tailgate...it makes contact on one of the wheel holders right at the edge of the tailgate. It's close but not quite

I just picked up a 1200 for my bars and 850 for my helmet. Just need a helmet mount and I’m gonna try to make the local group night ride next Tuesday!
