This weekend my buddy and I made a custom side rail bike mount for the softopper. I was inspired by the KB Voodoo Outboard Mount that they stopped selling. We used 3/8" plate steel for most of it with a 2.5" tube cut in half for the rear wheel. We noticed a lot of side to side flex when just mounting into the side bed rail so we added a reinforcement tube to the front rail as well. Screwed directly into the front rail with self tapping screws. Drove on the interstate for 4 hours with the bike mounted and it barely moved. It's ready for some trails!

Those knuckledusters are the best damn grip I've used. Super comfy.
    Love the Fanatik sticker kits.

That is an awesome setup. Want...

    Edit: Sold

Anyone want a set of dad plaid Zoic Ether shorts? Never worn, and am trying to clean out the house a little bit. All I ask is cost of postage.

@mcharfauros I know you want em. Would look sick at the post ride barbeque!

If no one else has claimed them, I'll take them. Perfect size for me.

Glad I could help fund your build and buy your old bike. Looks good - Trannys are the trend right now

Yeah, def helps. Shipping label is getting made up rn, so I'll have you the tracking info in like 20 mins.

Now if only our trails would dry out a little in the valley. Running the dog around the neighborhood is only a tease. My dad's side of the family all live just south of Bellingham, so Transition has been on my radar as a "local brand" for some time now. Just glad to be able to take advantage of an opportunity.

So I’ve only been into mtb for a few months now and I’ve been trying to get my friends into it sooooo I decided to buy a cheapo eBay bike to get them out on the trails with me.

$200 and it has some decent components. Biggest cons I’ve noticed so far are skinny tires, front derailleur, and handlebars. Shifters also aren’t my taste but they function okay.

Definitely the best value I’ve seen so far for a big box/ cheap bike though!
