Ibis is one of my all time favorite companies. I still love the Mojo, but I know a lot of people prefer a Ripmo. Awesome bikes.

My rocky mounts brass knuckles doesn’t. The horizontal bars are like an inverted U. I’m not seeing which 1up fits into it.

It’s just convenience. If I can get it on with it on, I’d prefer it. May I have more info on your setup though?

I had the same issue with my bike and RCI rack before I traded for 4R. Thought to just go tailgate pad but I couldn’t fit under the rack and found a free kuat transfer 3 on Facebook so I just went hitch mounted.

I used a Kuat Dirtbag truck bed mount for the fork and KB Voodoo rear tire tray w/ strap.

Have you looked at the 1up roof rack?

Edit: I see that I'm a little slow to the party, as others have already linked you to their roof racks. Can't say enough good things about the 1up, though. Solid as hell. Near perfect.

I have both their hitch rack and a roof rack tray. With their adapter kit, the roof rack doubles as an additional hitch tray when it's not mounted on the bed rack. Highly recommend all of the above.

Would this be a good place to mention I have some stuff for sale?! Figure I'd throw it out on here before I go to Pinkbike and the local for sale sites. If you want to build a sick xc bike.....I have XX1 shifter and derailleur (selling these together), XT casette, Fox Step Cast 32 (scuff on fork leg, but mostly just the stickers that got scraped up...no damage to it), and then some random bits like the seat post, bars and stem. If someone buys the shifter setup and fork together, I'll throw in the xt cassette, salsa bars, Scott 73mm stem and zipp seatpost 31.6/300mm.
Fwiw, the shifter and derailleur have about 200 miles on them. Used it on my Pivot hardtail for D2R2, a poker ride and a few other random rides. The fork has probably 400 miles on it. It was on my xc race bike that I've since made a dedicated rigid SS.

    Sram XX1 Type 2.1 Rear Derailleur - Long Cage (Carbon/Grey) and Trigger Shifter - 1 x 11 Shifter: $225

FOX Racing Shox 32 Float SC 29 100 3Pos-Adj FIT4 Orange, 1.5T, Kabolt 15x100, steerer tube length 6.7/8". Chris King race installed: $425

    Shimano XT CS-M8000 Cassette - Silver, 11-42: $25

Problem is the length of the bike vs bed. I tried to use my Thule rack I had on my Subaru, but they were hanging off of the back of the bed too far. Had to go with a fork mount. Even with the front wheel removed, my large frame 29’er is as long as the bed.

Update. For those with 3rd Gens, I recommend the large Rakattach. I got the medium (per Rakattach recommendations on their website) and the lower tray hits the bumper when folded up. Luckily, it's easy to put the rack down (when there are no bikes on the rack) to access the tailgate and there is plenty of clearance.

I like it. However my RCI does seem to be able to accommodate their bike rack. What is your kuat mounted to underneath?
