Throwback to the April day I bought "Fresno". The old and the new.

Works been crazy, and I just got back from vacation. Haven't BRAAP'd much lately.

I've seen them before and the bike is mint that's why I asked. I have looked at getting or building a bike that a had as a kid. Some parts are tuff to find.

 

Did this over the weekend, so it looks like I'll be getting a new bike soon.

yep, good call. the lower shot is just the parking lot at Beauergard Winery in Bonny Doon. It's a great pit stop for us as we cruz down the coast, cause y'know... wine and stuff.

 

Just riding along came through a fast & steep transition bottomed out and part of the frame kept going.

 

Now the question is what are you going to get next? more travel I'm guessing...

 

We live in SC halfway between Wilder and the bottom of Emma McCrarey so we usually do a loop one way or the other through UC. Ride from home so bike + Taco isn't very common, but we did actually drive to - and ride - Demo (Ridge and Flow) yesterday. Forgot to take pictures though Conditions sure have changed in a few weeks, no mud now! We've never actually been to a local winery, because beer.

 

I will also assume not a 26" bike. However doesn't Trek have a lifetime frame warranty?

 

Demo is so much fun but you are quite the happy camper to have campus in your backyard I'm sure.

Hahahaha yeah that was after spending the night in a hotel during a cross country move moving truck in the background....I figured out the hard way that the bottle jack the previous owner had was insufficient....it took 3 jacks in tandem to change the tire...Colombus Tx in September didn't add to the excitement either

Yeah i'll see what they offer, but I'm going to try to get a process 153 frame to build up.

 

It's a kona, but should be covered by their lifetime frame warranty. Going to try to talk the shop into getting me a process 153 frame, but well see how that goes

 

Takes me 30 seconds to remove the front wheel and toss it up on the bed. 1x thru axle mount and 2x QR. Couldn’t be happier
