I'm still considering that as an option. May be able to get the Trek store to throw me a discount on the parts if needed.

Based on the measurements of their page, the wildcats are too small for my face. They're the same size as my old ESS glasses that I hate and am trying to replace.

I have the opposite problem. Most sunglasses are too big. Asian fit is nice on this wops face.

Interesting, I should pay closer attention to the measurements haha. I hope these Amazon ones are decent. I’ve been rocking some Oakley sutros and a branches hit in between helmet and glasses, pushed the glasses down and grazed my eye...I was pissed

The X-tigers are a fair bit bigger than the Wildcats. They're the same size as my AO aviators that fit perfectly for my big ol noggin.

The price of the Izzo is looking better and better. I’d prefer to go with an LBS but to save $1k...it’s tempting since I do most of my own maintenance anyways

Yep, That's why I said I did not suggest it as an option. 36 may be a bigger fork that the type of riding he normally does, he may want a more nimble fork. But I agree, 36 is awesome, I run one myself.

I just hope the nose pads hold a little better, I like how the smiths have adjustable nose pads. We will see how these Amazon specials go though

Any time anyone is in the Pisgah area, hit me up. We are up there most weekends. Especially this summer since I'll be training in the heat for (rescheduled) PMBAR. :annoyed:
