Anyone else sad that Disney went with the GoT guys instead of the Russo Bros for the next series of Star Wars films?

 

Not yet. But, things change. Knights of the old Republic (if that's what it is) is pretty dark stuff. If they want to do it, they'll probably do a really good job.

 

I would like to see the Russo's get a crack at it too.

Have they scrapped the DCCU? I really enjoyed Man of Steel by itself but everything went downhill once they tried tying to together with everything else. I did enjoy Aquaman but only bc Jason Momoa and Amber Heard...

Will be interesting to see what comes next as they do have a lot of movies on the slate. Wonder Woman 2, Suicide Squad 2, Aquaman 2, Shazam 2, Black Adam...

Is Joker with Joaquin related to any of this or on its own?

Do we need our own DC Thread. I don’t feel like it’s as popular as Marvel...

 

I am going out on a limb and state that I'm not all that worked up about this for the following reasons:
A) The Twilight pubescent girl porn shitfest notwithstanding, Pattinson is actually a talented actor. His indie stuff is good, and he does have the gravitas and emotional weight to play Bruce Wayne.
B) EVERYONE thought Michael Keaton was going to suck, and he is now the yardstick that other Batmen are measured against.
C) He can't suck any worse than Val Kilmer, George Clooney, or Ben Affleck.

Just my opinion, and I already know where to stick it if anyone disagrees.

Not sure if I'd follow a DC thread for obvious reasons.

 

It's Batman, so I'm going to watch it! He is a good actor, but it hard to dissociate him from the sparkling vampire that is now Batman.
