Nice, what brand. Anything special to have them prepped for paint.

Haha. I was about to go find a baby to punch when I first saw that post. Since I just ordered 4" flares but really only want 2". Thankfully they are for previous gen. :)

Gotta finish this long travel first. Nothing like your install but man this is a pain in the ass.

So this is my first experience with truck fiberglass. I've installed plenty of import stuff both fiberglass and carbon fiber. These will
take a while to get them to fit. Looks like a bunch of trimming needs to be done. I'm going to have to completely cut off some of the mounting points because they don't line up at all.

I was hoping I could just slap them on and call it good. It'll probably take me most of tomorrow just to bolt them up.

    But...they sure look good!

:broccoli:Done! You will have to wait for a better pic once I get the suspension finished. Maybe Tuesday.

The definitely don't fit like factory. But reading more on fiberglass it seems that's pretty much standard. Once I wrap them I think it'll look better. There are a bunch of gaps but the install wasn't too hard. I think if you wanted a nice looking truck and were willing to spend a loooooot of time, you could make them look factory. I don't care that much since they'll probably get destroyed off road. Like the rest of my truck.

These are also cool because I think you could cut the "flare" off and have maybe 2.5-3" of coverage instead of the 4.5 they cover right off the bat.

They fixed the look of my truck that i didn't like. I'm excited to get it running. I really like how the top of the fenders rise up above the hood a little. Looks mean.

Yeah and didn't really try to get them to fit. So after reading the fit pretty well. I just hacked off the front part and they fit fine. Oh I had to sand the headlight opening a bit. And I can't figure out how to make the flare/bumper/fender meeting look good. But I think it's partly bexause my flare is very trimmed.

I think those textured flares look great, but are black bolts available instead of chrome I wonder ?
I like the textured ones however I wonder if you could get the bolts in black instead of chrome ?
