I keep having this random issue of when I start the truck all the dash warning lights come on. I turn the truck off and immediately restart and they go away. Happens maybe 1 in 20 starts. It's very random, truck can be warm, cold, long set period, short set, it's all over the place.

I tried to pull a code off it last time it happened with the reader but it shows nothing. Any ideas what could be happening?? Thanks.

My old impala did something just like that. It turned out to be a dodgy ignition switch. I'm guessing it was from the systems not getting the right voltages at the right time.

That would make sense. I do get the occasional bad start and have been questioning the ignition but that's like 1 in 50. The light issue has never shown up on a poor start though.

You've tried just resetting the ecu?
1st gens, I believe, you just need to pull the ECU fuse under the hood.
