I do not mind the OEM's that came with my truck, but I sure wish that there was a carpet delete option to have complete rubber flooring versus this thin and generally crappy "carpet". More like felt on cardboard. Hah.

There was a discussion on mats not too long ago. I use the Tuxmats as well because I think they have the best coverage. They come with clips/velcro to stick to your factory carpet so yes, you can stick them down. I didn't even bother putting in the clips/velcro because mine sat just fine without it. Never lifted up or kicked them up.

Main reason for going with Tuxmat was Coverage. I have 4 crotch-fruit/offspring that put their dirty ass feet everywhere BUT where the mats were. I have now had them for a year and a half or so. Through summer offroading and trips. As well as a solid Canadian winter. I am very pleased with them.

I have had Maxliner for 6 years. Good coverage and fit. I would buy again.

Anyone try the Tuxmats with a manual transmission?
I really like the extra coverage they appear to provide, but not sure if they would interfere with the clutch.

How about the Maxpider ones? I've had those in a few other vehicles and was quite happy, but again, not sure of the clutch situation.

Tuxmat states AT, double cab (for whatever reason) only. I wouldn’t put AT in an MT personally

Glad to see I wasn't the only one that didn't use the clips. They seem to be holding their shape just fine. As a matter of fact, the unopened bag is still sitting on my passenger seat!

Have these in my commuter car (Toyota Matrix). Because of the age of the car, they were the only ones I could find for it. I was pleasantly surprised. Fit amazingly well, and they clean up very quickly. I liked them so much, that I was looking for a set for my wife's car.

Comment I linked to did try. I don’t imagine more rigid aftermarket mats being any better. Same comment also describes why they don’t work, but keep holding your breath by all means

Received a full set of black WeatherTech laser measured floor mats as a Christmas gift. I removed the original carpeted floor mats and easily laid in my new WeatherTech's! They fit perfectly, didn't have gaps at the edges and over the course of three rainy winters proved to HOLD all the water and snow I tracked in. Cleaning them is a breeze by taking them out of the truck, wetting them down with soap and water with just a little bit of brushing and rinsing they look like new again. They're quality, easy to clean and HOLD the run-off from my boots!

    I appreciate the link.
When I read the linked comment, I thought the poster was referring to the OEM mats. I was curious if anyone with a manual transmission had first hand experience with either Tuxmats or Maxpider.

I have weathertechs currently, and while they are fine, if those other brands worked and offer more protection, I would happily switch.

His comment is about oem, which are more pliable than the aftermarket’s you asked about, and that’s why I speculated non-oem would be worse not better. However that’s all it is; my speculation. No harm in asking for experiences of others! I just wouldn’t get my hopes up

I got Husky's since i've only heard great things about them. So far, love them. Only dislike (which is super minor) is that it's a hard plastic unlike other all weather mats that are rubber. So if you want to leave something like a backpack on the floorboard, it will just slide side to side.

What is the best fitting rubber mats for a 2012-2015 model? I was looking at the Husky Xact but prefer more of a rubber-like material over plastic. The OEM mats look ok.

The Husky X-Act Contour liners aren't super rigid like the original WeatherTechs, and the Weather Beaters from Husky. Very thick rubberish type material. There's also Weathertech HP that are supposedly comparable to the X-Act Contours. I have the X-Act contours in the front of my 3rd gen and the rear liner is on order. They're the best ones I've used so far. Great coverage and very easy to clean and don't seem like they'll have issues with the edges rolling or curling.
