If you don't mind, can you let me know if the reat liner feels the same as the front liner when they come in? I originally had the front liners, and just got a rear the other day. My rear liner feels like it's made out of a different material and doesn't seem quite as thick as the front liners.

As soon as my fronts come in I will. I got my rear mat yesterday but the fronts haven't shipped yet.

I got the OEM Tub mats. Almost as good as all the Weathertechs I've bought over the decades. Almost.

I used my OEM tubs until I installed my stereo. When i lifted the seat, I saw my floor was rusting from where the salty water ran off the tub mats, and immediately ordered Weathertechs. If you live in regions where it snows and they use salt... i strongly suggest you use mat's with a lip on them that will collect the saltwater.

I only got 17,000 miles out of my OEM rubber driver's mat. I only run the rubber mats in the winter with my winter tires. Earlier this week I changed to the carpeted mats when changing to my summer wheel/tire combo. I noticed on the winter mat that the area where I rest my left heel when using the clutch pedal had already worn through enough to let water through and soil the carpet. :frusty:

Of all the brands suggested in this thread, does any one stand out for MT applications?

    I've had many kinds.
Husky Contour are way better than OEM and quite a bit better than Weathertech.
That's my experience over many years with all brands in many months of cold and snow, heavy spring rain, and quite warm summers.

I agree the oem ones suck. Especially with kids, so much crap gets stuck in all those crevices. Even with the use of a power washer, stuff doesn’t come out.

My Tacoma came with the Toyota brand all weather floor mats in both the front and back. I'm very happy with them. They fit great and never come loose.

I'm using the ones that came with my SR ... they are going on 9 years old and still look good. It's because Toyotacare checked them diligently. Thanks a bunch! Toyotacare... I'll forgive you for over tightening my lug nuts

Mods? We don't need no stinking mods.
I have OEM all-weather mats for front and back. And OEM carpet mats for the front.

I keep the carpet mats in unless the weather is supposed to be nasty.

The OEM rubber mats look dirty even after cleaning but I figure its a truck so not a big deal.
