Really wasn't hard at all, everything matched up fine and went in easily. Install took about 30 minutes, moving the seats and bolting them back up is what made it take so long. Overall, very pleased with the outcome, gives the truck a fresh look while being extremely functional and convenient at the same time.

So far I've added an Advance folding bed cover and since removed it. Gave it to my son in Maine, he has an 05 2wd. GT perfect fit seat covers. Weathertech floor mats and window vent visors. Waag center brush/grill guard. Hose clamp tailgate mod. Turned off the seat belt chime. Added Ultra-Gauge. Trailer hitch. Softopper. Replaced sun visors with slide out style. Toyota bed extender. Had Firestone Destinations and now Michelin LTX AT2 in stock size. More mods to come; Fog lights, locking storage in bed, intermittent wipers. Now looking for Radio/HU upgrade. and maybe a lift way down the road.
    nice job. looks great.

Wow, nice job! If I had gone to all that trouble to strip the cab, I would have slapped down some Dynamat (or equivalent) before installing the flooring. Any chance you did that but just didn't take a pic?

Yes, Dynamat is for noise. Do you think there would have been room to add dampening material under the new flooring? Could you left the carpet in and gone over it?

hmm not really. it had all the same rubberized parts the carpet does underneath to help with cushion and noise etc. maybe in a few spot you could but not enough to change any noise levels

    Nice Looks great!

So was the whole job 30 mins? Seems like it would take an hour just to strip everything out?

How is the sound level? any change?

Dynamat is pretty thin stuff and would help a lot to dampen outside sounds.

What was the cost of the mat? I would think I could do this on my 12 DC?

not a kit. straight from toyota. newer trucks have the option of rubber flooring. just buy it for a new truck and install into older truck

I had already taken the carpet and everything out before the UPS man got to my house, so once i had it it only took 30 minutes, so call it 45 total work time, ive stripped the inside of the cab before so i knew where all the bolts etc were that needed to be removed

    no change in sound level

costed 389 before shipping, was about 57 to ship

yeah its a direct OEM replacement for carpet so itd work fine in your 12 DC, check the link in the top post to order it
