Seeing a lot of controversy when shopping for all weather mats. Many people are saying that the mats made for the standard version for the truck are different than the mats for the auto. Most of the sites don’t specifiy what transmission their mats are made for. So for people with the mats in a standard what do you recommend?

Love my Weathertechs. I have a 17 DCOR MT. The manual floor cut IS different from auto.

Husky's site lists a separate model for manual vs auto with their WeatherBeater line, I think the difference is in the dead pedal/foot rest: https://www.huskyliners.com/WeatherBeater-Floor-Mats/

I intend to get some Husky for my truck, based on my research on this forum and other places around the internet, but many people love their Weathertechs too.

You absolutely need a mat which is MT specific, since the dead pedal for the AT is wider. I went with the factory Toyota mats and when I picked the truck up I noticed right away they installed the AT mats by mistake. The first time I pressed and released the clutch pedal, my shoe dragged on the rubber mat and lifted it up off the floor, due to the molded wider section for the AT dead pedal. That being said, the factory mats aren't very deep and the water/snow runs right out the back onto the carpet anyway. Will be getting Weathertech's soon

Yeah I like both the weather tech and huskys just trying to find a cheaper option because eBay/Amazon have mats for between 70-120$ but idk what I can trust to fit

Don't fuck around. WT or Husky will last for years. Any cheap knockoff will fail and cost you down the line.

Yeah I agree, the extra 100$ will be worth it in the end. Now the debate between weathertech and husky begins

I have both the Toyota weather mats and the Weathertech for my MT. I really like the honeycomb pattern and black color of the factory but the WT have better coverage protection. I put the factories in for the summer and the WT for the winter.
