So, some of you may know my truck and heard of all the issues I've had with the 8 inch rearend. I've been on here a while but never really post. I've had my truck for a little over two years, bought it bone stock with beat up fenders, bedsides, and some small dings else where (2013 TRD Off Road DC, 90,000 miles, for 19.9k).

Dont ask how much I have into it now lol. I will post pics of the processes I've gone through, if I can find pics. So to start I got a leer canopy, it's a work truck and i have the bed full of tools 90% of the time. Next came new tires and lift blocks.... (folded front coilover).

Snapchat-135753498.jpg Replaced them with some cheap coilovers, as I knew I'd be doing a lift.

Ordered a fab fours front and rear bumper, as well as McNeil Racing 4" fenders and bedsides.

Swapped interior lights, dash knobs and a couple other little things

Ordered a 6 inch RC lift (hasn't been bad but their shocks are horrible), as I didnt know any better. Also ordered some Anthem Off-Road 20x12 wheels, and picked up some 37/13.5/R20 Hankook MTs. Mocked em up before 6 inch lift.

IMG_20180610_075328_469.jpg Got the lift installed with lifted struts instead of the blocks, had custom springs done to stay away from the 4 inch blocks, although I kept two inch blocks and added leaves to get to 4 inches (little stiffer but still has the wheel travel, 6 inch leaves would of compromised to much wheel travel). Also made a flag pole setup at this time.

Next came the headlights, I own LED Automotive so this part was easy lol. And a tailgate light bar (already had replaced the taillights)

Got to test the leaves with 2200lbs and a cab full of tools. (No sag )

Cat ended up going out so I ordered an AFE Y-Pipe. Sheered the studs on the headers and melted about 40 drill bits (carbide, cobalt, all kinds lol).

    Got it replaced though.
Beginning of this year I sheared my stock gears.

And thus began the battle with the e locker....
Went to 5.29 gears (front and back obviously). Had everything done by a shop, immediately had a whining on deceleration. Called Nitro, said it was installation error, and recommended Hazzard FabWorx (I live in Spokane Washington, and they are local). Took it there and he said everything was shot, Nitro wouldnt replace the gears so I had to buy all new gears and install kits for front and back. Also had a blown carrier bearing. Paid $2800 to redo diffs. Month later had the same noise, the shop swore all was installed correctly, so Nitro replaced the gears this time and the shop said I had severe axle wrap. So I paid another $2800 for traction bars, tom woods driveshaft and spc UCAs. Now I'm about 2-3 months down the road and I just sheered couple teeth on my ring gear. Shop wont take any responsibility, nor will Carl (Owner of Nitro gears). Keep in mind I've already bought two sets of gears, installation kits, and front carriers. Now I'm being told I should get a 8.4 or 9" Ford axle. So I've paid a shop just under 6 grand to fix my truck (not including the first time) and they're just now telling me I should upgrade.... so I'm ordering a Currie 9 inch, should be here in about a month. I WILL NOT ever use Hazzard FabWorx again, Luke has taken zero responsibility for anything that's happened including me paying them for an alignment after uca install, as soon as I picked it up, I noticed it was pulling hard to the left so I called and they said they dont warranty alignments... Warranty?! It wasnt aligned off the parking lot! So anyways.. I'll be going after some money reimbursement but for now will be ordering the currie rearend with 5.29s and we'll see how that goes. This is how the shop left my truck after picking it up last week though... no hub caps, 4 out of 6 lugs on both sides, half the 3rd member nuts, 2 out of 4 drive shaft bolts, and no fluid.. so that was nice...
