I can do close to 80 on my LTBs. :notsure: Not that I did it intentionally, but I happened to look at the GPS and it was reporting 79 MPH. I was like, oops, better back off or I'd lose my old man cred.

If I had the money, I'd make a bet with you that you'd love the way these ride or I'd buy them from you. Unfortunately, I don't have the money, so it's a moot point. I'd still say go with the bias ply ones Tim suggested. They will be a lot more durable to sidewall damage than a radial.

Radials are the way to go if you are doing any street driving. Virtually no sidewall issues either, one cut that I can think of in the last 7 or 8 years.

I’ve had friends with swampers and truxus that have all gone to a modern tire and aren’t looking back. Interco has gotten left in the dust compared to all the newer tires on the market now. You don’t have to pick whether you want a round tire or one that works well anymore.

I absolutely LOVE my Dick Cepek Extreme Country's. They're tough, sipped, and light as hell. @Snowy can tell you how well they did at Windrock last month.
E-rated but wrap up really well when aired down, and they clear mud like a mofo

Well, You know the saying about old dogs and new tricks. I've been an Interco fan since I first got into off-roading decades ago and I'll probably be one until I die. I love the way they perform, I love the way they look, and I don't particularly care if my off-road rig rides like a Cadillac on the road, as long as it doesn't scare the shit out of me at interstate speeds. ;)

Got dicked around by 4 wheel parts on a set of razr's, so I ended up with a set of trepadors... Which it was a toss up between the two anyway

Switched up the switches a bit. Removed and replaced the rock light and inverter switch that I had that weren't being used and added winch controls and windshield lights which will be installed sometime in the next year. And another pic of the new Trepadors

    Just being honest lol.

I did buy another rocker for "bed lights", so I can just swap the rocker itself on the switch if I decide I want to put these old lights on the bed. I'm undecided....

Rechecked my Homebrew alignment and it was about 3/8" out of square from front to back. I got it down to 1/4" just by shortening the panhard bar by a few twists. The front passenger tire was about 1/2" further out than the driver side, but now they are the same. I know I'll never get it perfect, even if I had a professional do it. I took it for a spin after and it did seem to track a little better at all speeds.

These tires are sweet at high speeds. They rode great at 65, but I didn't push it any faster as the RPMs are up there at those speeds.

Cool deal. Is the speedo right now?

After replacing my LBJs, I noticed the OGT was visibly towed in. Took it to the alignment shop yesterday and the guy, who hates my truck because it was a problem child last time, was practically giddy, all smiles and joy after he finished with it this time, and after my brake fix this morning, the truck actually feels right for the first time in ages. I'm very happy.

    Nice!

The speedometer is a little off, but not by much. I didn't have my GPS with me so I couldn't compare. AA did a pretty good job getting me setup with a near perfect speedo calibration

I saw your truck in a YouTube vid a year or two ago, @Taco No Baka was in the vid as well. Honestly those vids are mostly why I eventually joined.

This is a ‘one day’ dream build for me. Awesome job.

Adjusted my drum brakes to the point where they are actually engaging and this thing is stopping better than ever before. I'm not sure the self-adjustimg levers or whatever they are called are actually working, so I may just have to adjust them manually every so often.

Also decided to finally throw some 1.5" spidertrax spacers on the rear to match the front width. The front axle is 64.5" wide and the rear is around 60.75", so these spacers brought the width out to damn near perfect.
