The Trepadors did great in the mud I was in yesterday, no complaints whatsoever. They clean pretty good with very little wheel speed and they don't fling gigantic chunks everywhere like the ltb's. This is the last time this thing will be wheeled predominantly in mud. I do not miss cleaning this shit.

I like flinging gigantic clods of junk everywhere. When I had my YJ on 16x35 Boggers those things would throw clods bigger than your fist and you could hear them slamming down on the roof. I looked up there after one run through the hole and there was a clod up there that had a perfect imprint of the grooves between the tread lugs. It was awesome.

(of course, my YJ was a hard top or it might not have been as fun, lol.)

Got some new chrome corner lights that don't match the grill, but look at the truck now, it's the least of my worries

Also need to source a new spindle.... This one is pitted, especially on the hub seal surface which is letting shit in and because of that, I had to replace the bearings on this side for the third time since the swap. The other side still has the same bearings from the original axle build. The threads also are trashed as seen in the picture...

New harnesses to replace the junk factory belts. This will prevent me from killing myself the next time I roll hopefully

as of now, no. There is a local crawler group that is suppose to go up the weekend after that and I've been wanting to wheel with them for a couple years now... but nothing is set in stone yet so who knows

Just come with us and stay all week for them. Obviously, this is the most rational solution to this conundrum.

Got one lap belt/sub belt installed. I have to do some brainstorming on how I am going to run the tube for the shoulder harnesses... It's a pretty straightforward thing but there's not much room to work with, and it has to be able to disconnect in the middle so the harness bar/frame can be removed in the future.

Is your lap bad just attached to the frame? I want to put just a lap bar in mine for crawling and don't know how to hook it up.

Trying to translate what this says :D

The lap belts are attached to a small internal cage/bar that is tied into a factory seat bolt, factory seat belt bolt, and body mount bolt on the floor on each side. The upper part of the cage is bolted to the factory belt mounts on the b-pillar (I'll have to take some pics).

Run a harness bar 12” from the bottom from where the hoop is. Run the shoulder belts in an “X”. Being a single cab you don’t really have the room to run it the way it should be but I don’t think you have many options.

From what I've been reading, and from measurements I've taken, I can sqeeze everything in there the recommended way. I haven't seen anyone say anything about running the shoulder belts in an x though

Got the passenger side lap and sub belt in today. This will be sufficient for a wheeling trip without the shoulder harnesses while I get that part figured out (I doubt I'll really use the shoulder harnesses much anyway). Also a pic of how the side bars are tied into the cab. A tube will spam across both of these just a couple of inches below the shoulder strap slots in the seats and those straps will simple be wrapped around that tube once in. Then, I will just have to pull everything out to clean up and paint.
