Thanks Ritchie! This is pretty much what I had in mind doing. Notch out what I need, cap it, and plate the frame on the outside to add some rigidity and call it a day

I didn't think about until now... if you need measurements, let me know.

So I ended up shortening the lowers and upper about 1.5" to pull the axle back and correct the castor back to around 6* positive. I probably got another inch of uptravel by doing that as well. I should have taken measurements before to confirm, but I do remember only having about 3" of uptravel and the rest down, so I'm hoping for more up now, which should happen.

Old hoops off and cleaned up. Going to start on the new ones this week.

    Pics are at full bump.

Looking at that axle clearance I’m going to be moving forward a little to clear the pan with the truss

You're going to have to mount your steering box so far forward... Don't call me the day you decide to do it lol

    Oh but I will. Haha.

@Acerwin negative. Not legal even here in Florida plus I want to steer if for some reason the truck shuts off

    Just gussets... everywhere
It’s not actually illegal you know. Not like you’re gonna fail inspection nor is there a law actually saying it is illegal. Now the steering while shut off issue I totally get.

That’s probably why I think it’s illegal because of safety standards.

Full stuff with a 32" tire....

Towers are fully welded up and tacked to the frame. I added guessets to the back of the towers that go down to the motor mount for a little extra strength.
