Just got my call and my dealer has been given their allocations. Actually not my original in town contact. He won't relay any information.

Anyway, trd dclb hopefully will be arriving sooner than later.

Hope those order sheets come in soon.

They were given a regional allocation. I doubt they have a dealer allocation this early

    1. Freaking 1. This could be a long summer. Where is your location? Small dealer or just low allocations?

    Any idea what color?

Not sure if dealer is high or low allocation. I've bought a bunch of new vehicles and different manufacturers have different ways of deciding who gets what. This dealer I think is pretty big and they got one allocation for this month. As it's not my first toyota and I have a great relationship with them so they said I can have it. I think the vehicle will be restricted for the 1st little bit until the factory can fill all the initial orders. Then it will be just like anything else, there will be lots around.

I wouldnt bet on lots around until next year. Demand is gonna be crazy and Toyota only makes set amounts each year, how they keep high resale, etc. Will be nice to see the new truck again in person (saw the offroad at the auto show). Congrats on your new truck. Feel bad for you guys though as deals are gonna be slim on these as with any new model/design.

How many 15's do they have on average in the lot? This would be a good idea of high or low allocation.

I am wondering when 15 production will slow and 16 pick up. I am hoping with two plants now and three shifts that things will go quick.

Like my dad always said "son, wish in one hand and shit in the other. See which gets full."

I'm in Toronto, Canada, and my local dealer told me he's been allocated 3 trucks for his first delivery and they're pre-sold already.

I have been waiting since February, my dealer told me that as soon as they could order one they would call me. They called me and I ordered what I wanted. They said they only got one allocation for July. I'm in the GTA

I'm not sure. To be honest I really did not look. I just came down to order. I know when I was down in June I saw 2, but they were obvious as they were parked in the front by the entrance and had the window stickers in them.

Thanks, ya with any new vehicle dealers can be buggers. I wanted to get a Hellcat Challenger and the dealers were marking them way up over MSRP here in the GTA (Toronto area of Canada) I was surprised with this dealer that they did not mark it up and if fact I thought gave me a great deal.

Congrats on being probably the first guy to have an order placed and getting a great deal to boot. Can you tell us what the Canadian MSRP was? I am curious with the Canadian dollar being down.

Thanks for the congrats. I don't know the MSRP and the dealer did not have pricing either. My deal was for X amount above invoice. They will know the invoice price soon, and for sure when the vehicle gets shipped. I will get it in September. The way I look at it, I'm getting it for way under MSRP and if I wait for pricing when the dealer sees the demand they may not want to sell for what they agreed to with me. I did my deal back in Feb and they promised I would get their 1st allotment so they pre-sold to me.

Did you give them a deposit and sign a contract? You don't say where you are located. Different states have different laws about deposits. So which one are you getting? Have you chosen color? How far above invoice are they 'giving it to you' for?

I'm in Canada so the laws are different than the US. I'm getting a TRD Sport DCLB 4X4 with the sunroof and tech package. Colour is Blazing Blue.

I would rather not go into details about how much over invoice I paid, maybe later, but not now as its going to start a heated debate and there will be people who don't believe me anyway so its not worth it, plus I don't want to tarnish my reputation with my dealer if I'm found out and others here in Canada go to them and bitch they want the same price. I have a unique relationship with them. Yes I gave a fully refundable deposit, yes its all in writing. They said it should be here in September, I promise to post pics :)

Congrats. We'll be waiting for the pics . I'd like to get one, but will wait until next year most likely. Got too many other things to take care of first. I'd like to see one in person as well and from the way they sell, that may be a while before I can catch one I like at a dealer.

Thanks, I'll be sure to post pics and a review of it as I will probably be one of the first on the forum to get one. There could be others before me, but not everyone is on the forum. I'll post all the details when she gets here :)

Sport, I wanted the hood scoop. I'm going to lose a few things that you can't get with the Sport like leather seats and JBL, for those you need the Limited, but the hood scoop is worth it, at least to me.
