That's a nice little deal. All the dealerships I have talked to haven't given me the option to do any of that. Just that they would notify me once they start to see allocations.

I think you are correct. That is what I gathered from his statement as well.

^^ You are putting words in my mouth. I didn't say that. :p

You meant a 15 I'm sure. And the sad thing is, I think we know more about the Tacoma's than they do. I went in to test drive a 15 and the guy was pushing it so hard saying the 16 was a smaller engine. I guess he didn't watch the initial press release. The dude I called over at Eastern Shore Toyota said the body style changed in 2007 from the first generation. These guys.

    I don't know I did that. LOL.
That same salesman will be changing his tune when the 2016's come out. Telling you about better fuel economy and more power from a smaller engine. its better to do your research instead of relying on salesmen for info.

I feel like that is crap.
I live in SoCal and Longo is the #1 Toyota dealer in the world and that wasn't what they told me.

However I don't think anyone truly knows yet...

Yeah, it didn't make sense to me either especially with dealers that sell more. You would think they would receive more. That's why I am curious about that time frame between allocations.

then again your in South East Toyota region so the normal rules don't apply. You are in the same boat as Gulf States. These 2 regions make up the rules as they see fit while everyone else has to follow Toyota USA rules.

Wouldn't they still be at the mercy of corporate Toyota as far as allocations though? Unless they have a plant that makes them just for these two regions?

Right on. I hope to follow a similar path at Automation in the future using the Costco sales guy.

^ No sunroof? I checked with my guy - we can't find that selection anywhere. Is it standard on the TRDs and Limited?

I think it's only on sport with technology package and limited.

the above looks like a base sport model.

Extremely doubtful. The truck suspension and a lot of the bones are the same, its now 4 inches longer, if anything a bit worse. My DCLB is like parking a fullsize or bus.
