Im Daniel i live in Brisbane, Australia. I have a Toyota Hilux not sure how different they are to a Tacoma if at all, but the engine is the same and this site has so much information about them.

I killed the 3rz in the lux. So now it gets to be fully rebuilt to hold some psi :p
So far its a completely bare block and head. Tomorrow its going to the Engineering shop for resurfacing cleaning and bringing the bore out 20thou. Joined Hoping for support and knowledge of the members here when its needed as i know it will be.

    Cheers.

lolz roof is awesome, I guess if you were in a roll over in the outback and were trapped inside you would at least be comfy

So parts were ordered 3 weeks ago from USA. Going by the online tracker they should arrive here monday :D so i will be able to send my block off for machining and hopefully have the bottom end back together by the end of next weekend :D i'll post some pictures then.

Got my turbo aswell. Might be a little big tho, It was on a friends 500hp 1jz (im only aiming for around 300-350hp) and only made good boost around 3 - 3.5g from his memory. If not it only cost a case of beer.
Il post the specs in the next post.
Posts should become more frequent now parts are coming in.

brand new everything (aside from hoses and what not) 20 thou over pistons.. 9.5:1 pistons as i want a high comp turbo setup

i also took a dremel drill to all the head ports and removed all the nasty casting marks and cleaned it all up. port matched inlet and exhaust

decided to have a crack at making my own turbo manifold. I mean why not.

unfortunately as everything was going really well and fast. I got ahead of myself and failed to continue to check clearances. turns out it was to close to the brake booster to comfortably fit the down pipe. so im going to make another one. ill take a bunch of pics as i go.
