People already pay little attention on the roads these days, I'd rather not give idiots a reason to waste my day and hit me. Also, why i still to this day, look both ways when I cross a one way street.

 

There is a big difference between spray tinting factory lights and getting full led aftermarket smoked lights. I agree the spray tint option is a no no.

 

Yea I actually met the gentleman who drove the car at Supercuts(where he works). I told him that I did it. He was mad at first till his lady coworker chimed in an also said she almost ran into the back of him. Difference she was in a Honda Civic I was in a Ford super duty.

I mean my tint is illegal, tires sticking out is illegal, rx350 projectors illegal, hell what can I mod these days without pissing someone off lol.

 

I’ve seen this same thing on Dodge full-size trucks only. My guess is there is a replacement LED tail light assembly available for these trucks and is cheaply designed/made... the brake and driving light intensity are only slightly different.

 

I see him every now and then he’s a really nice dude just wasnt thinking.

 

I mean hell everybody jumps on and buys meso’s tinted turn signals and I never see anyone complain. Same thing as far as legality is concerned and I have them in my truck as well.

 

Personally I try not to do anything that jeopardizes my visibility, or make illegal mods to my vehicle. I understand there are other drivers on the road besides myself. I also don’t want to give police any reason to pull me over

 

Turn signals on the mirror are a secondary marker after your fronts and rear turn signals. Shit the aren’t even on the non TRD lines

 

Well not to be nit picky but if you’ve ever looked at your radio or phone you endanger people. Who could do that lol

 

But they are in fact illegal to tint.

 

There's a difference between meso's turn signals and blacked out tails...drivers have other ways of identifying your signal, dark tails gives the person behind you zero indication of you braking.

 

I mean those 18 wheelers with a million led lights on their truck can get a ticket if they have one of those lights out. Once it’s on the truck it must be maintained.

 

That’s not true there is a third brake light above the cab. And nobody said anything about blacking out a tail light.

 

They are not in my horrible state for vehicles to be inspected. Because they are a secondary marker light. Mirror turn signals are treated like fog lights in my state inspections.
