Liking the way the tread went. Boobs are aways great. I just dicovered the chive site thanks to a tread on TW. I spend way to much time on it too. More bad news I was told that a honda ridgeline when up and down the same hill do day with no problems. Looking at the cooper discoverer ATP. Reviews look good for snow. I need all of the help that I can get. Keep the boobs coming.

You guys saying that ABS is disabled in 4lo should actually drive your trucks in 4lo sometime. Yes, for the TRD O/R crowd, its disabled when the locker is engaged, which is only in 4lo on stock trucks, but 4lo alone does not disable the ABS.

I bet neither the jeep nor the ridgeline had AT20s, or other similarly poopy tires.

The yellow wire mod keeps ABS active . Maybe a down side to the mod. The jeep has revo s.

So I must have missed the point where the almost died part came in picture? I would have just jumped out of the truck and let it hit the pole without me? You could not have been going that fast considering you were in a driveway. Anyhow Glad your ok.

Experienced the same thing here in my area of Pa.. We must have the same type of snow ;)
Definately unnerving. The ABS sucks in the snow, period.

Holy Crap all I can say is this plus a billion

Grandtreks only satisfy a legal requirement for tread depth...they serve no purpose
other than provide something to prevent rim to pavement contact.

get rid of those death rubbers ASAP

Grandtreks were on my 4runner when I had a rollover, on a snowy road. They do NOT
give any feedback on the road conditions they just slip into doom

    they suck in rain
    they are death in snow
    suck on dry
    really suck on painted lines
suck suck suck and more suck

yes operator error but Grandtreks truly are the bottom of the pile for a name-brand tire

Just ordered some cooper discoverer apt from discount tire. And I said in the first post that I can't drive. I am ok with that.

Doesn't seem like much of an upgrade? I'd save money for a little longer and get a much better tire.

i am proud to day that I met Mila Kunis in person while they were filming "forgetting Sarah marshall" here in Hawaii. She's pretty much a 10 until you hear her voice.
