Congrats on your first vehicle. You will never forget it. I had no idea Ranger wheels was an option for 5 lug.

Nice! What year ranger rims were these exactly? Looking to do something similar. Did you find any other options? 5 lug rims aren’t so easy to find sometimes

Your truck looks amazing - any issues with the 235’s rubbing when you are turning?

I just got a stock 2003 5 lug and looking to put some 235 on it

@ab2003 thanks man, whenever i first pit the tires on they didnt rub on turning but whenever i went over some bug bumps or dips in the road at like over 25mph my tires rubbed the front bumper, then i installed the daystar coil spacer and it pretty much made me not rub anymore

@ab2003 yea man the only thing i would say is that with you having an extra cab i dont think the daystar coil spacer will fully eliminate the rubbing just because of the extra weight of the truck, i put some 5 lug v6 coil springs and the daystar spacer and it gave me like 3-4 invhes of lift but i really wouldn’t recommend doing the v6 coils because it was super hard to install them and it rides really stiff, honestly i would just spend the 450$ on the lift spindles if you want to not rub at all with the 235s. Let me know if you ever have any questions man!

@domzee good note on the extra weight of the xtracab, and thanks for the help man, I have been doing a ton of research on tire sizes ‍

    - I think I want to keep it stock height for now, I wonder if I put on some 225’s if it will rub at all (stock height) thoughts?

@ab2003 i ran 235s stock and didnt rub too bad so i think 225s would be fine stock height, also 2001 and up have wider fenders than my year so it will give you a bit more clearance
