So my wife gave me the go ahead to get a Flowmaster 40 series and a stainless tip. But all the shops around here want to charge me an arm and a leg for it! Damn small towns. One guy quoted me $225 for just the muffler and the tip.. I think that is way to high. What do you think? I was really looking for some where between $85-100... Damn..

Jegs or Summit will most likely be lower than anywhere else.

What ever you are looking for, they most likely have it. Whether it be cat back or just a muffler & some tip(s). At the least take a look so you can compare prices with other sites. The reason I recommend them is because they have far more volume and turnover than anyone else in the industry, thus making their prices lower.

well I can buy a muffler for $50 shipped, a tip for $25. But I am not able to bend any pipe, so I am unsure of how to weld it up.... Which I can do.
