    Been lurking here for months, doing my research before upgrading from my '94 Pickup to a 2010 Tacoma. Really like the pickup, may keep it for the beach, liking the Taco as I get used to the size.

    I want to give my thanks to all the generous members here who've posted so much info; you've reawakened my hot rod glands, dammit. Spent way too much time, energy and $$ playing with my late lamented '66 GTO, followed by the '69 Mustang and a '76 Cosworth Vega. Thought I was over that foolishness.

    Until I found you. So now I've done some superficial stuff (tailgate, tube steps, truck box, bed mat, Wet Okole, flex antenna, WeatherTech), planning on some mild mods like headers/exhaust sys, HID (a knowledgeable friend recommends this one unreservedly), interior lights, sound sys upgrade, li' dat.

    Let's not forget the detailing. Truly a necessity given the time I spend on the ocean. More time, more $$$, but my wife thanks me; now I do her car as well. I won't say I use her baby ('01 Celica GTS) as a testbed, but....

    On second thought, maybe I shouldn't thank you for getting me back into the game. Where will it all end? :D

    Okay, sorry for the long intro, I'll shut up now.
