Thinking of upgrade from oem wheels/tires...possibly flat/matte Pro Comp wheels and A/T tires...will be primary used on pavement, but capable of handling some slick muddy clay type roads high up in mountain terrain (Kokee) suggestions regarding offset and clearance as stock suspension for now until manufacturer warranty expires appreciated...Mahalo (thanks)

If you're going to see mud I would steer you to more of a hybrid AT/MT tire (Cooper ST Maxx or Nitto Ridge Grappler for example). These will stay fairly quiet on the road while not gumming up as badly as milder ATs in stickier clay.

    You can clear a 265/70r17 or 265/75r16 on a stock 2018.

thanks brother..any suggestions as to offset ? I grew up driving my dads 1964 Jeep P/U way back when it was bought brand new...('64,'65) on the farm/ranch...in those days it had oem steel rims and military 'mud grips' so my off-road expierence was limited to that and I be new to this...an experienced 'rookie' so to speak...LOL (don't choke laughing too hard)
