6" Fabtech Lift, 18" Blk RBP wrapped on 33's x 13.5 Mickeys, Smoked Headz, Blacked out tails and 3rd, 8K Hid's Headz & Fogz , Shorty Ant, Borla Catback, 5% Tints, Sony Deck wit Soundz (custom 2-12'z box) & WetOkoles
Aloha, I'm really stoked to have join this site :D

Well like the title says I got a 3" Toytec lift on 18"x10" rim (same backspace as stock) wrapped on 325/60/18.
I know that this setup is way bigger then recommended but I loved the loOk so Im willing to compromise with the rub if I can't eliminate it...

I cut and cut the plastic to eliminate fender rub so now Im down to two issues:
1-Tires rub on the cab mount at a full turn :(
2-Tires rub on control arm on I hit a bump while turning

    Solutions?
1-Shaving the cab mount back + weld plate?
    2-using a small spacer?

Should solutions #1 and #2 eliminate my problems completely? I'm affraid of spending the cash to get those done and still have rubbing issues...:(

    Hope u can help ;)

caged, camburg long travel, 50t leafpack (soon to be installed) light rack over cab, 5pt harnesses etc
alll your money will dissapear too.

use a spacer in the front, make sure you use hub and lug centric like spider trax

and get the cab mount chop

ALmost guaranteed with that wide of a tire you will not be able to completely eliminate rubbing. Adding a spacer will help with the UCA rubbing but will make cab mount rubbing worse. A chop will help, but the addition of a spacer, especially 1.25" one will make it nearly impossible to eliminate rubbing at the rear.

Work is done on the cab mount and used a 1/4" spacer... Let's just say that rubbing is a thing of the past!;) (at least for street driving)

Will post some pics later... Aloha

What are other downsides of running wide tires? Besides rubbing...

Katskin leather interior, Satoshi grille, Bilstein 5100's @ 1.75, rear leaf TSB, magnaflow exhaust, 18x9 BBS RW's, 275/65/18 Nitto TG's, black headlights, black taillights, Hella Supertones, weathertechs, EFX tri-fold tonneau, n-Fab steps
Since the rims are so wide, if you add a spacer you will probably start rubbing on the outside of the tire.

Without the cab mount chop a cutting the plastics it would of been impossible to even switch lanes without rubbing... Now there is no rubbing issues what so ever! (u turns, reverse turn, bump turns and etc..)
