    Hello everyone,

NJ transplant now living in Hawaii..I recently traded in my 10 year old Taco I used for mainland /East Coast hunting for a new “tropical” TRD Sport. I’m going on my 3rd year living on the Big Island and still can’t believe how dominant the Tacoma Culture is on this island (those who have been here can chime in) with 90% of them lifted. I first thought the most lifts were ridiculously too high and for show, but have slowly realized the pragmatic rationale. Roads leading to homes are often in off-road, off grid, lava, boulder and flood prone zones. With that said, I’m planning on getting a lift soon, my Tacoma is my mobile office. I’ve been lurking on this site for a few months and have benefited from members’ input, especially on mods. Glad to be here, sending a mega-Shaka to all members...Great and informative site!

    Thanks,

My favorite comeback to that is “I’m a little pinyo’d”. People usually laugh at that lol
