Alpha Rex Headlights wiring issues

I bought and installed alpha rex nova headlights and i got the driver side to work but the passenger side seems messed up. me and my brother did a test before we installed them and they worked fine but after we plugged everything in it the parking light/tail lamp fuse blew and there was smoke that was inside the passenger headlight. headlights works fine but i got no drl on the right and no right turn signal. has anyone ran into any or similar issues with them?

From what I’ve read on these forums, they aren’t highly recommended at all. Hopefully you can get warranty replacement or refund as smoke is not a good sign.

 

Bummer hopefully Alpha Rex can swap them out for you

 

Sounds like a chinisum product problem more than a wiring problem

 

Alpharex is trash. They blew fuses in my truck.

 

Call mfg or vendor

 

Once you call for a refund and get your OE headlights back in and running, take an evening and read through this before your next move..........

Of course if you don't like the info, just pick what you want.

 

Forget about swapping them out. Get a refund and purchase morimotos or 2020 OEM LED headlights.

Sorry to hear about your issue. Heard nothing but bad things about alpharex.

 

All I remember doing the same my drl on the nova weren’t working . I accidentally bent one of the pins that plug in for the drl . Check if you did

 

I just picked up my truck from a tire store, and the Head lights on the passenger side do not work, checked my connections and wondering since i had installed them in Feb 2021, if anyone has had any issues and can the light bulbs be changed since the mechanic said that since it was an after market item, it was a Ballast problem
