I’m working on installing a pair of Alpha Rex pro series headlights for my 2015 Tacoma that I got for Christmas.

I’ve got everything wired up just like the instructions said, but now the truck won’t start. It will turn over but won’t start. Any idea what the issue is?

I'm at work and can't confirm right away, but my bet is on that fuse tap being backwards. You have to take a meter and make sure the hot leg is opposite the side where the red wire exits the tap (hope that makes sense). If you run it backwards then no power goes through the fuse.

take that fuse tap and turn it so the fuses are facing to the right instead of left.

Watch this and learn. Check the orientation of your fuse tap as to how it is plugged into that ignition slot.

Well yeah that'll do it! We can't see the bottom of that fuse tap, but I'd also bet OP is missing the second fuse that keeps the original circuit working. Needs two fuses in that fuse tap holder!

Next up once OP puts the missing 15a into the add-a-fuse for the IGN circuit to function again, a new thread I’ll be started:
Either “everyone is flashing their lights at me” or “these lights have terrible output!!”

The blue one with the 15 on it? I have it, does it slot into that empty spot on the new fuse tap?

lol yes. Your adding a fuse to the already existing fuse location. You cant remove the fuse that's already there. There are 2 slots on the fuse tap. Put the 15amp back in there. Turn the tap around if truck still doesn't start. I forget the orientation of the fuses but watch that vid that @wi_taco posted and it should tell you.

Direction of the tap matters as others have suggested. Also, make sure that you have a fuse in both slots in the tap. The bottom slot should have the original fuse put back into it. The upper slot is where the new fuse goes.
