Alpha Rex Tacoma headlights turn signal problem

Whenever I use my passenger side turn signal it does the sequential turn signal but it randomly speeds up one time then goes back to normal I’ve seen you need resistors and was wondering if that’s what would fix my issue. Also less important in videos it looks like the drls are flashing but in person they aren’t so I was wondering if that’s a normal thing because I’ve seen videos where it doesn’t do that

 

When did you purchase them? They released a "new" inline DRL harness 2-3ish years ago that resolved hyperflash without needing 3rd party resistors. Speaking of, if you have that new harness I'd check how you have the passenger side piggyback connector hooked up to the main harness/driver side.

As for the blinking on some videos vs. not, that simply has to do with the aperture/shutter speed the camera is recording at, and the refresh rate of the LED on the DRL. You'll notice in shows and other homevideos the same happens when videoing LED monitors or lights. It's just catching what our eyes can't perceive: the light refreshing/cycling dozens of times per second.

Unplugged and replugged and now they are good
