So I’ve bought Alpha Rex tail lights and was made aware about how dim the brake lights are during the day. I contacted customer service and they sent me a new pair however it’s the same issue. I didn’t have this issue until I bought them. I’ve seen videos of other people with the same tail lights and theirs are bright during the day. Any ideas what could be my issue? At night they’re perfect. Pictures show brakes being applied during the day vs night. Again I’ve seen videos/in person seen other people with the same tail lights and their’s seem much brighter than mine during the day.

It's impossible to compare anything with uncontrolled photography, but the bigger question is why you would want to replace the legal and effective tail lights that came on your truck with known crap, plus, your third brake light is not working now and that is definitely a safety related deficiency that could easily land a ticket. I'd put your original lights back in, toss these in the recycling bin and call it a (not so) cheap lesson. And remember that these trucks are VERY sensitive to even small changes in the electrical system that can show up in many different ways.

Can you explain how these trucks are very sensitive to changes in the electrical system?
