I have a 2023 with OEM LED headlights and they’re great. I would recommend anyone looking to upgrade to spend the money and go with OEM.

    lol
I spare you the TW standard headlight condescension.
If you decide you’d like function over form, there’s a very informative lighting post that’s stickied which you should read before spending your $$$

OEM LED headlights are sequential. The biggest advantage of the Morimoto set is the choice of amber DRL. My truck came with the LEDs and I can say they are great headlights.

So the Trd pros are they compatible with a 2017 limited?

Not understanding something though… I put led bulbs in with no problem and no conversion kit.

Your light output is trash at the expense of a cooler light color. The reason OEM and Morimoto cost more is because they're designed to actually output more light in a useful beam pattern.

No, the stock halogens were trash. I could hardly see with them. I had always use my brights. The ones that I put on are extremely bright and they’re brighter than my brights But not too bright that people will flash me. I’ve had them on for six months and haven’t been flashed once. Here’s a video. You can see how bright they are

The conversion harness is for OEM Led Headlights.

Not being flashed isn’t a measure of your uplight being acceptable. Your plug and play bulbs aren’t street legal and their output is indeed quantifiable garbage.

Interesting. Post a pic or video that shows better. These are 6000 looms.

Apologies if I am coming off rude, arrogant, shitty etc. after I said I wouldn’t be condescending.
The information is out here and doesn’t immediately coincide with our perception of brightness. I was in the same boat at one time and loved my pnp leds until I didn’t, and realized I was out running them.
Sometimes perceived tone and timing of crap going on irl will evoke online responses from me that aren’t warranted.
It’s your truck, and ultimately what you use doesn’t affect me at all

No, I highly respect your guises expertise on these things, but I also don’t just go along with what anybody says right away. I have to do research for myself and there are some people on here that don’t know what they’re talking about not that you’re one of them, but you know what I’m talking about, so I like to do research before I come to my own opinion. As far as my LEDs, I’m just speaking of my personal experience when I had to run my brights all the time I was getting flashed all the time but that’s the only way I could see , those halogens only allow me to see about 20 feet in front of the truck and I had a cut off line that was pure Black. Not good for seeing deer. And there’s a lot of them where I live. I will check out the thread. right now, I’m at work. I’m not even supposed to be on my phone lol

Respect. Definitely don’t trust everything you read online.
I fully agree, I was definitely unhappy with my halogen H11s. That thread has a lot of information to wade through, but it sounds like you’re willing to do the research when you’ve got the time
